In alignment with CLIA and the wider cruise industry guidance, Seatrade Cruise Global 2022 will require all participants to provide:
Either: Proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test:
Antigen Test within 48 hours of the start of the event
or
PCR/NAAT Test within 72 hours of the start of the event
No, COVID-19 vaccinations are not required. If you are not vaccinated or are unable to show your vaccination document(s), then you have the option of taking an Antigen test within 48 hours or a PCR/NAAT COVID-19 test within 72 hours of Monday April 25th, and sharing your negative (or not-detected) result with us via our online pre-arrival Health & Safety Check or when you arrive at the Miami Beach Convention Center. It is one or the other (a negative COVID-19 test or vaccination records). We do not require both.
We recognize and accept primary series vaccines that are approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. FDA, or the World Health Organization, or the European Medicines Agency (EMA). These are currently considered to be one single shot of Johnson & Johnson (Janssen), or two shots of any of the following: Moderna/Spikevax, Pfizer/BioNTech/Comirnaty, AstraZeneca/Covishield or Oxford or Vaxzevria, Sinovac/Coronavac, Sinopharm, Nuvaxovid/Novovax, Covaxin, and Covovax.
*Please note that a person is considered fully vaccinated after 14 FULL days have passed since their second shot (or one for J&J) - for the Seatrade Cruise Global Event, this means that all shots must have been administered on or before April 10th, 2022 since the event begins on April 25th, 2022.
Boosters are not required for entry.
A negative COVID-19 test is required ONLY if you cannot/do not submit a valid vaccination record online or show it at the door when you arrive to attend Seatrade Cruise Global. If testing, please have an Antigen test on April 23rd or 24th (or the 25th if you are guaranteed the result before your arrival), or a PCR/NAAT COVID-19 test on April 22nd, 23rd, or 24th (or a rapid PCR on April 25th if you are guaranteed the result before your arrival).
No, it is one or the other (an Antigen test administered on April 23rd, 24th - or 25th if guaranteed the result before arriving to Seatrade Cruise Global), or a PCR/NAAT result for a test taken on April 22nd, 23rd, 24th (or a rapid PCR taken April 25th or morning of your arrival, if guaranteed the result before arriving to the Event), OR vaccination records. We do NOT require both.
No, only upon your initial entry. Upon initial arrival, we ask you to show your test or vaccine documents if you have not already uploaded them and received your approval via our online system. A fabric bracelet/wristband will be given and by wearing this on your wrist and wearing your badge around your neck each day, Event staff will allow you entry to all rooms/halls without having to show your test/vaccine information again.
It is preferred that you do not wait until arrival to have a COVID-19 test; however as a convenience we will have testing on-site inside the convention center following the same opening hours as our registration desks each day. Please note testing will be at YOUR OWN EXPENSE (cash & cards will be accepted). Please allow extra time if testing on-site since a negative result WILL be required to get your wristband and to be able to pick up your Event badge.
Wait times will vary based on the number of attendees being tested at the same time. Rapid Antigen and Rapid PCR tests will be available and will take a MINIMUM of 25 to 60 minutes to register, pay, take the test, and wait for the result. Testing for return travel purposes will include PCR/NAAT tests, Rapid PCRs, and Rapid Antigens. Prices will be displayed.
Yes, please do! We expect up to 8000 attendees and strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to click the link that was emailed to you to answer the Health & Safety Check and upload the requested documents. Once your entries have been submitted, they will be reviewed for verification and once approved you will receive an approval email.
Show that approval message/code with your Government-issued photo ID upon your initial arrival to be able to enter the Fast Track lane at the Miami Beach Convention Center and receive your wristband. The wristband will allow you to proceed to the badge pickup area. There is no cost to submit online and it will speed up the time to gain access to the event.
We ask you to do this to speed up your entry upon your initial arrival (whenever that is). Failure to upload will not mean you cannot enter, but it will take longer to have the documents and details manually checked, and questions asked, at the venue. As this is an indoor event which will be attended by thousands of people, we are following these protocols to minimize the risk of exposure and spread of SARS-CoV-2. There is no cost to submit online and it will speed up the time to gain access to the event.
By clicking the link that was emailed to you from [email protected] and following the instructions. REMEMBER TO 'SUBMIT' (you will see a confirmation of submission when your details have been submitted).
No, please take advantage of this ONLINE service that will only take you a few minutes to complete (once you have your vaccine or COVID-19 test documents and your Government-issued photo ID ready). If the approval code is not received prior to your entry to the convention center, you cannot enter the Fast Track lane/queue.
We follow CDC guidelines which recognize and accept 'fully vaccinated' as being those people whose primary series vaccines are approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. FDA, or the World Health Organization, or the European Medicines Agency (EMA). These are currently considered to be: one single shot of Johnson & Johnson (Janssen), or two shots of any of the following: Moderna/Spikevax, Pfizer/BioNTech/Comirnaty, AstraZeneca/Covishield or Oxford or Vaxzevria, Sinovac/Coronavac, Sinopharm, Nuvaxovid/Novovax, Covaxin, and Covovax.

Boosters are not required for entry.
We follow CDC guidelines which recognize and accept 'up to date' as being those people whose primary series vaccines are approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. FDA, or the World Health Organization, or the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and also have received all 'approved' Boosters when eligible to do so. We do not require people to be 'up to date' to enter Seatrade Cruise Global. Boosters are not required. A status of 'Fully Vaccinated' or producing an approved negative COVID-19 test taken in the required timeframe is required.
In the case of people who have recovered from COVID-19 recently and their antibodies are causing tests to show positive, there is a Certificate/Letter of Recovery they can submit WITH a positive PCR test, so long as they are symptom-free and 10 days have passed since their COVID-19 infection. This is a typed document on official letterhead from their Healthcare Provider. We accept these only when they meet all the needed criteria (as listed below) AND when they are also accompanied by a positive COVID-19 test administered 11-90 days prior to April 25th. (Within the timeframe from January 25th, 2022 to April 14th, 2022).
Per U.S. guidelines, devised by the CDC: The letter "must be signed and on official letterhead that shows the name, address, and phone number" of the medical professional(s) verifying that the named patient was diagnosed with Covid-19, completed the appropriate period of self-isolation, and has been cleared to reenter society.
We will be following Informa's AllSecure protocols.
We highly recommend you plan ahead and upload your test details 24-48 hours prior to your arrival at the convention center - via our online Health and Safety Check system. National and International visitors/attendees who needed to show a test result for travel and have a 'valid' negative result from an authorized testing center elsewhere, can submit those as long as the test was administered on April 23rd, 24th, or 25th (provided the result is received before you arrive at the Miami Beach Convention Center) - or one from April 22nd in the case of a PCR/NAAT test.
Local authorized COVID-19 testing sites for local, national, or international attendees can be located via this City of Miami Beach link.
As an added convenience, you can pay for testing onsite at the Miami Beach Convention Center for entry or for needed/wanted return travel purposes. Testing will be open the same time our registration desks are open each day. Please note, that any on-site or off-site test costs are at the expense of the individual registrant/attendee.

This is required only for your initial entry to the Event unless you remove your wristband. You will be given a fabric wristband to wear when you are checked at the door during your initial arrival. Please keep this on for the duration of the conference.
Your conference badge (worn around your neck) and your wristband on your wrist will both need to be visible for entry to all internal doors for the Expo and each conference and meeting room and events at the Miami Beach Convention Center and during the CLIA event off-site on Monday April 25th.
If you remove your wristband or lose your wristband or badge, you may be asked to show your documents again or be subject to refusal of entry.
By submitting your completed pre-arrival Health & Safety Check & following the instructions via the link that was emailed to you (submit only time per registered attendee please unless a follow-up email requires more infomation).
There is no cost to submit online and it will speed up the time to gain access to the event.
Submissions will be reviewed in the order they are received and more time will be needed during high upload times. Please allow up to 24 hours to receive your email. Please submit early and send clear photos. Allow time for any clarifications that may be needed. Also, be sure to check spam and junk folders after this time has passed in the event you don't find the approval in your Inbox.
Yes, but please allow extra time. It will be faster if you complete the pre-arrival process which only takes a few minutes. If you do complete the online process, please show your approval at the door along with your Government-issued photo ID.
If you need to arrive at the conference center before receiving the approval, be prepared to be asked and attest to the Health and Safety Check questions and please show your Government-issued photo ID along with your 'valid' vaccination record(s) or a negative test taken within the accepted time frame.
An Antigen test needs to be taken on April 23rd or 24th (or the 25th if you are guaranteed the result before your arrival), or a PCR/NAAT COVID-19 test on April 22nd, 23rd, or 24th (or a rapid PCR on April 25th if you are guaranteed the result before your arrival).
Yes please. Everyone will need to be seen by a Health & Safety Screener the first time they arrive at the venue, (whenever that is); those in the Fast Track lane with approval codes will just need to show their code, their Government-issued photo ID, and, verbally state if they have any changes since answering the Health & Safety Check online.
At this point, a wristband will be issued. The wristband will allow our staff in the badge collection areas to issue your conference badge. Both the badge and wristband will be needed each day for admittance to all areas.
Those with no approval will be asked to show their ID and their test result or vaccine record, and also respond to each of the health questions. Please allow ample time for our Health & Safety Screeners to screen everyone on the way in, the first day you arrive. To avoid delays, if possible, we suggest that you take advantage of our Sunday registration times, then on Monday and all other days have your wristband and badge visible and just walk straight in.
If you intend the State of the Global Cruise Industry Keynote on Tuesday to be your first show involvement, we HIGHLY recommend you complete the process and pick up your badge on Sunday or Monday to avoid long queues and wait times Tuesday morning.
We highly recommend mask-wearing, as we are expecting up to 8000 attendees in an indoor venue, but we are not insisting on/mandating mask-wearing. Informa staff will be masked for the duration of the conference. While countries and cities are opening up for live events again, the numerous strains and variants of SARS-CoV-2 continue to evolve and are highly infectious. While we cannot avoid the spread, we have our Health and Safety Check and Screeners in place in an attempt to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 as much as we can.
