Participating in the 2022 Seatrade Cruise Global (booth number #315), Tourism Malaysia is promoting its Pre & Post Cruise Tours where travelers could immerse in Malaysia diverse culture and bio-diversity on land and underwater. Malaysia is just a step away from your next point of embarkation.

The highlights of Tourism Malaysia’s participation in the Seatrade Cruise Global 2022 are:
a. Southeast Asia Travel Trade Networking Dinner on April 26
b. Malaysia Reception with Travel Industry Association (TIA) Florida Chapter on April 27
c. Pre Schedule-Appointment (PSA) with cruise travel industry players, and
d. Media Interview on Malaysia’s destinations and tourism products.

Beginning April 1st, 2022, Malaysia is all set to welcome back international travelers after the government announced the full reopening of its borders for the first time after nearly two years of COVID-19 pandemic-related closures as the nation is transitioning to an endemic phase.

Fully-vaccinated travelers into Malaysia can enjoy quarantine-free travel and are only required to take the COVID-19 RT-PCR test two days before departure and undergo professionally administered RTK-Ag within 24 hours upon arrival in Malaysia. To ease the entry process to Malaysia, travelers with valid travel documents can enter Malaysia by downloading and activating the MySejahtera contact tracing app (from Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery) and completing the pre-departure form under the ‘Traveler’ icon.

International travelers who are not fully vaccinated are also welcomed in Malaysia and must undergo a five-day quarantine upon arrival. Meanwhile, children and young people aged 12 to 17 are allowed for quarantine-free entry and only need to undergo professionally administered COVID-19 RTK-Ag within 24 hours upon arrival in Malaysia.
